The Caribbean Art Meet up
-
Our Mission
Our mission is to help lift emerging artists into the global spotlight and to highlight and celebrate the critical but often overlooked histories that connect the Caribbean region to the World.

Mandate
C|Art’s mandate is to connect local, regional, and international artists, dealers, collectors, curators, and academics who are interested in the exploration, promotion, and development of the arts sector across the Caribbean. The featured exhibitions, studio visits, artist and curatorial talks are presented in concert with immersive cultural and educational experiences in the hopes of nurturing the continued development of the arts sector across the Caribbean region.
C|Art 2025
We are thrilled to announce the third edition of C|Art, set to take place from January 30th to February 2nd, 2025, in Montego Bay and Kingston, Jamaica. The program will kick off with a dynamic dialogue between acclaimed artist, photographer, scholar, and curator Dr. Deborah Willis and Dr. Christine Checinska from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, UK. We are certain that their exchange will captivate and inspire attendees. C|Art serves as a vital platform for connecting artists, curators, collectors, dealers, academics, and cultural workers from the Caribbean, United Kingdom, North America, Africa, and the broader African Diaspora, fostering meaningful connections that unite Caribbean artists with diasporic communities worldwide.
C|Art Barbados
Date TBD
Stay tuned for further updates on C|Art Off. We gather at a designated spot in the Caribbean for studio visits, engaging discussions with curators and artists, and immersive exploration of the distinct art scene of a chosen island. These intimate gatherings occur during the interim years between our triennial meetups, enhancing the overall experience of our larger gatherings in Jamaica.
