Artist Bios:
Christina Leslie (b. 1983) was born in Toronto, ON. She earned her BFA in at OCADU, Toronto (2006) and is presently pursuing her MFA at SCAD in GA, USA. Much of her photographic practice revolves around the themes of identity, immigration, issues of marginalization, memory, race and her West-Indian heritage.
Her photographs have been featured in an extensive list of publications; most recently in the UK magazine MURZE Issue four and Issue Ten (2019 and 2020). In April 2020, she was part of Capture Photography Festival, Vancouver and in May of this year had a solo exhibition at BAND gallery as part of the Scotiabank Contact Festival, Toronto.
Leslie’s work has been exhibited and collected both nationally and internationally.
